Resources For National Youth Sunday 2019

The new National Youth Sunday website is up and running with a range of resources for use in parishes, schools and families, and by individuals. The CYMFed team preparing the event has chosen the theme "Significance", following on from this year's Flame event, and inspired by Christus Vivit.

In addition to a theme document and aims and objectives for National Youth Sunday, the materials on the site so far include videos, activity sheets, homily notes, newsletter inserts and posters, and slides for liturgies for different groups. There is also a range of resources based on young people who have lived inspiring lives of significance, including St Dominic Savio, St Therese of Liseaux and Ven Carlo Acutis. The team will be adding more materials in plenty of time for NYS on 24 November.

Schools are also encouraged to take part in a special NYS act of worship, joining across the country in prayer at 9:00am on Friday 22 November.
