Million Minutes is again encouraging us all to have some time in silence during Lent, to focus better on the things that matter, and to raise money to support young people who don’t have a voice. You and your students or youth group members can take take part in lots of different ways, at any time right up to Easter.

You can sign up on their website or download sponsorship forms and take part in your own siLENT challenge – from keeping quiet for as long as you can, to just staying off your mobile –  or you can sponsor some of the people who are already taking part: see a list of participants you can sponsor on the Million Minutes website.

Great work is done with the money and awareness raised during siLENT each your in helping young people who are marginalised, so please do anything you can to support the effort this Lent. Million Minutes suggest you could pray (in silence) for the siLENT participants and for all young people during Lent, or find opportunities for short periods of silence and reflection.
