I am just coming to the end of my first year as a secondary school chaplain  Hurrah!

And want to get some feedback from staff (and then I'll move onto pupils) on how well I'm doing/supporting them. So just about to start putting together a chaplaincy review type questionnaire and wondering if anyone has done anything similar (that perhaps I could have a sneaky look at) and any areas/questions you recommend I focus on...?

we've started using surveymonkey.com for getting feedback in school. It's great for collecting stats as well as allowing comments and space for further thought (plus it can be used anonymously). I can send you the link for the survey we sent out a little while back if you wish.

On a similar note, I was in a beginning of term meeting this morning where we were talking about the new appraisal system for teachers. One of the things mentioned was a new self evaluation form, and it got me thinking about chaplaincy. I have seen lots of self evaluation forms about Chaplaincy (balance of programs, retreats etc.), but I haven't seen any self evaluation forms for a Chaplain, targets and areas for personal professional development etc. Has anyone got any experience with this?
