Job Description

St. Pius X Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas is seeking a well-organized, enthusiastic, and solidly Catholic person for a full-time position as Director of Youth Ministry. The position involves working with a Core Team, coordinating and leading LifeTeen, Edge and Confirmation Programs, and managing a “state of the art” Youth Center. A degree in Theology, Catechesis, Youth Ministry, or a related field is required. A graduate degree is a plus. At least 2 years of parish youth ministry experience is also highly desired. The applicant should have a mature personal spiritual life and conduct, have exceptional interpersonal skills with youth and adults, and have good communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of the use of technology and social media is also desirable.
