Job Description

The Church of the Holy Family in Syracuse, NY is seeking a full-time Director of Faith Formation for a parish of 3400 + families. The position will open August 1, 2012. The potential candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive catechetical formation for grades K-12 and supervision of a staff of six (part-time Life Teen Coordinator, part-time Edge Youth Minister, part-time K-5 Coordinator, part-time Confirmation Coordinator, and two part-time Administrative Assistants). Applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree ideally in Catechetics, Theology or Religious Studies. Must possess strong organizational skills, an ability to recruit and form volunteers and be willing to be a Core Team member for both the Edge and Life Teen programs. This person must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
