I know a few people were taken aback by the violence in the movie. Actually, there's very little of it. It's one of those movies where you think you see a lot more than you do. Rather, I think what gets people is the psychological thing of kids killing other kids.
As a youth worker, I found this a little disturbing. As I said in the last piece though (or in the comments, rather) I think it's worth exposing ourselves to what society might become if we let our guard down.
