To mark the thirtieth anniversary of MTV this summer, Time magazine ran a feature online showing what it claimed were the thirty best music videos of all time.

Inevitably, I think there are some glaring omissions - like November Rain - but it's an interesting list, and a fascinating tour through youth culture of the last quarter century or so. Of the ones in the list, this is my favourite:
