MULTIMEDIA

Resurrection: Rob Bell from Rob Bell on Vimeo.

Rob Bell on Resurrection

Rob Bell is a very gifted speaker who makes a lot of engaging videos. Here, he talks about what Jesus' resurrection means for us. It's a very powerful video, well worth watching and using.

IN THE SESSION: A good intro, or something to get them reflecting or praying later on.

MOVIE TO USE: The Passion (BBC Version, not the Mel Gibson one!)

IMDB Link | Buy on Amazon.co.uk

(for details of the Mel Gibson version, have a look at session 4)

UK Rating: 15

Description: This is a good verion of the Passion. It is arguably not as graphic and real as the Mel Gibson version in terms of Jesus' suffering, but it has certain advantages. For one, it gives more background to Jesus' life and ministry before Holy Week, and it also shows far more of the resurrected Christ.

Which Part to Use: For the purposes of this session, the stuff after the resurrection is really good.
