- I've been a Scout leader in my parish for many years. I also helped with the Youth pilgrimage to Lourdes for several years before transitioning to helping with the children and families groups. From a secular perspective, I've worked in education, youth offending and child psychiatry.

- Walking, climbing, canoeing(almost anything outdoors really) Spending time with my kids, eating fine food and drinking good wine. Camping and touring countries that offer the above i.e good food and good outdoor opportunities.
