Good film. They over do the "old verse new" theme a bit too much for me but i suppoes they are trying to emphasis the 50 years.

St Patrick's Day is also a feast day. The Church requires me to feast on such a day.

I will fast on the fast days.

Hello
A priest once mentioned to me that he would like to set up online elearning type catectises so that people who struggled to leave their house in the evening, those working late, parents with small children, etc. might be able to join in over the net. The idea didn't really appeal to me at the time. I think most people prefer meeting in person but as someone who finds it impossible to get people to attend meeting I am willing to reconsider.

I was thinking that I might try to arrange a meeting for some of my leaders for a group video conference. I have done the phone conference in the past and struggled with it but think a video might be better. Looking for something similar to Skype but multi person and free. I have seen a programme called ooVoo that can be used by 6 people and Google+ seems to have something. Not sure what Google plus is.

Has anyone used such a programme? Would anyone recommend such a programme.

Here's one that could be used for introducing 'how to deal with difficult characters' within a group.

Does anyone know of a good film clip or you tube video that shows a small group discussion? Funny and possibly disfunctional would be good.

Will be used for training catectists in working with small groups.

My understanding is that the Friday penance was to deny ourselves the luxuries in the same way we do during lent. Meat was a luxury food that only the wealthy could afford. This is no longer the case. The Bishop's state, "or some other form of food". I am considering giving up Fish on Fridays.

Hello

Does anyone have any good resources for teaching the new translation to young teenagers? Personally I am struggling to think how to make it interesting for them. Please don't suggest two hour powerpoints or an in-depth hermeneutical study of various latin texts.

Some of the target audience will be altar servers and therefore quite young. Activities would be great.
