The Jesuit Institute
« on: January 11, 2012, 11:52:43 AM »
One of our members has just put me on to a new site called the Jesuit Institute. It is aimed primarily at Jesuit schools, but is expanding its scope and can be a lot of use beyond that.

In particular, it has some interesting stuff on Chaplaincy.

I am always quite impressed by the work that the Jesuits do with young people. In London especially, they are doing some good things in their schools and some great young adult ministry too.

I quite like this, I found parts of it particularly challenging, especially given the conversation over on the "Sustainablility of Catholic Schools" thread.

I like their model but wonder if it makes a difference being in a religious order school (if that makes any sense.) Is it any easier or harder? I particularly like the self-evaluation questions on P3 of the PDF though. I am currently amending our Section 48 SEF with the Head of RE and these questions are good for reflection.

Thanks for posting it!
