That Flashmob...
« on: March 27, 2012, 01:44:57 PM »
One of the most common questions that's been asked since Flame has been whether there is a video of the Flashmob available online.

Well, the official video (from the big proper cameras) will be available by Easter. For the minute though, there are a load of videos on YouTube. Most are terrible, but this one isn't too bad.

This is the one taken on my camera by one of the SPEC volunteers (hence the zoom in on the SPECies). He wasn't used to the camera which is why it zooms in and out so much to focus. Also, we had to make it lower quality to be able to upload it so if anyone wants the original higher quality one, let me know and I can probs email it to you!

There is a fairly good quality version of it on our blog which has some canny closeups and the sound is great.

I am resisting the temptation to mock you for using such a Geordie word as 'canny' ;)

Mock away, it is good for the humility. Jesus was a geordie anyway so he will smite you for the mockery! Ha ha ha

Still buzzing from Flame though, it was epic...as is the follow up! Thankfully we had an event ready to invvite people to straight away...out lent Pray-Over, an all night vigil on Friday night with the CFRs and parishioners and lots of pizza (meat feast ordered for 00:01am! Ha ha)

Clearly, Jesus was scouse... look at the evidence...

1. He didn't have a job

2. He got in loads of arguments

3. He was very Catholic!

(It's okay - half my family are form liverpool so I'm allowed to mock - I love Liverpool really ;D)

Well, to prove he was a Geordie:

He spoke a language that the modern world would struggle to understand

He came to abolish the law (...no explanation needed)

There is the biggest congregation of Jews in Europe in Gateshead - surely that's where he was born! There you go.

Anyway...I know I am mocking myself, please other Geordies on the site...do not get upset...it is merely a joke and not meant to offend.

He was clearly a Geordie! ;D

The first thing I thought when I saw this was the "Report to moderator" button in the corner.  But then I realised that was you!  Ha ha.
