Hi everyone... An RE teacher friend of mine wants to know where he can get hold of a load of free (or v. cheep) Rosaries to handout to students.

Any ideas...?

Not aware of anything chaep in UK but the States have really cheap stuff e.g.

DABCEC has the plastic ones at 25p each, as far as I remember... that any use?

They take a while to arrive (about 8 weeks to be precise) but I ordered 700 rosaries from these guys! They give them FREE

I received an email last week informing me that they have shipped. I think I'll have them before Easter.

The free rosaries arrived at school on Monday. They're fantastic and the RE department are delighted.

I have to admit that I did have a moment of quietly giggling to myself as when I opened the package I discovered that all 250 sets are pink and working in a school with just boys it will be interesting to see how they are received!

Mine arrived on Monday and they are ALL pink too (700 of them!) - being a boys school in North London - pink is not an issue: Pink is Gangsta!

Liverpool is obviously quite different to the North London Massiv'. A lot of my lads also seem to sport the 'Bieber-Bob' hairstyle - I'm guessing they would be labelled "southern pansies" by the scousers!

Are they plastic ones or knotted rope ones that people have made?

They're plastic ones but I don't have any on me to take a photo of - will get some from the RE department later today and upload a photo.
