THis is an interesting thing for Catholics to know about, especially if you're in the US. Even if you're not though, it might be an interesting thing to discuss with your youth group.

The US Bishops have called for a Fortnight for Freedom, to run between June 21st (the feast of Ss. Fisher & More) and July 4th (the day we lost our biggest colony - or Independence Day as they call it!!).

The US Bishops feel that the threats to religious liberty in US legislation which comes in to force this autumn are to grave to ignore and they feel that they must act.
